In an effort to take better care of my skin, and frankly because sun damage is not attractive, I decided to use self-tanning products again. However, I was unsure of which one to use. In the past, I've used the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Gelee, Medium Natural Tan - 5 fl oz, and an older version of Christian Dior's line. While I was happy with both, I didn't care for the typical "self-tanner" fragrance. A friend recommended the Banana Boat brand in a spray, Banana Boat Summer Color, Self-Tanning Mist, Fresh Citrus Fragrance - 5 oz. So, I went looking but couldn't find it at my local WalMart. Instead, I found the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Salon Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist, Medium Natural Tan - 4.6 oz. I made sure to exfoliate my legs and followed the directions on the can. I was pleasantly surprised by the citrus fragrance; much better than the usual smell! However, it was such a fine mist that it was hard to see where I sprayed. Fast forward a few hours and the color developed. Yup! I'm splotchy! BUT, I love the color! It was so easy to use too. Therefore, since I am a fan of "airbrush", I'm going to attempt to even out the color. I am going to apply another coat on my lighter areas, and to avoid darkening the color in other areas, I will use a cotton ball to wipe off any overspray. I'll let you know how it turns out!
